Philosophy, wait, how was the earth created?

I’ve learnt that I can only deal with philosophy up to a point. Sure it can be fun, questioning everything, but eventually, I want an answer. Now, I’m dealing with literary philosophy here, or specifically, literary theory. There are many, many different types of literary theory, and I am in no way a specialist. But so far in my studies, these theories share one thing in common, none of them are solid. There are gaps, holes, in their theories that other theories then like to poke fun at. No one can answer because, ultimately, everyone has different thoughts and opinions. I’m still learning about literary theories, but I have a funny feeling I’m going to end up with more questions than answers.
